Has it really been 13 weeks?!!!

I want to congratulate everyone that ran the Green Door 5K!!!!

Wow, It is so impressive to see how far you all have come!

It really does seem like yesterday that you guys were struggling to run for 90 seconds!
I remember the comments of "does it ever get easier?" "I will never be able to complete a 5K!" "If I feel this bad after running for two minutes how will I ever run 3 miles?"

Well holy frekin crap!!! Look what you all accomplished this morning! WOW simply WOW!

You should all be so very proud of yourselves!

Too see the shock on your faces after you crossed the finish line and see your time was so GREAT!
I think everyone ran a faster time than you ever thought possible!

I have said this for 13 weeks and I hope this morning really drove it home... It’s amazing what your body can do if you don’t let your brain get in the way!

I am so very proud of all you guys! You have no idea how inspiring it is for me to see the look of accomplishment on each of your faces!

You guys kicked serious ASS this morning!

I demand one thing from every one of you! REMEBER how you felt when you crossed the finish line this morning! I could see it in your faces, you experienced the runners high!

Don’t forget that feeling! Let it be your motivation to continue on!

We had 21 people on the roster week 1... We had 10 people run the graduation race! You ten stuck it out through all the hard evenings at the track! Through all the muscle soreness! Through the hi's and the low's! But bottom line you set out to do something and you accomplished your goal in a BIG way!

What is your next goal? Set it now! There is no break! Enjoy your weekend and ask yourself this question... Will I continue to make myself better or go back to my old slack ass ways and lose all this momentum! The best motivation to keep running is to aim at an event. Look at the RRC calendar and pick an event to train for!

While our C25K class may be done I promise you I will be here to help however I can! If you want to run at 5am or 10pm you just let me know and I will be there to run with you!

Thank you guys for the great feeling of reward you all gave to me this morning!

Now Let’s Go Run!!!!

    Thank you thank you thank you for all of your time and coaching!! It was/is great having you motivate us along with Holly and Angelia. I cannot say thank you enough! Now I am going to sit down and figure out what my next goal will be....definitely to beat my time.....just a matter of where and when!
